30/07/2009: Domus Selecta makes its debut in Asia with the addition of a Boutique Hotel in Dubai
Domus Selecta, the Romatic Hotels brand belonging to Hotusa Hotels, has just made its debut on the continent of Asia, with the addition to its portfolio of member hotels of La Maison d’Hôtes, a boutique hotel of French inspiration with only 20 rooms, in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
With this new addition, Domus Selecta is beginning its expansion in Asia where it has the intention of growing by means of an association with small, charming hotels in the Middle East and various countries in South East Asia. At present, the brand has more than 230 establishments in 20 countries in Europe, America and Africa.
La Maison d’Hôtes is a veritable oasis located in Dubai’s Jumeirah district, close to the beach and the business area. This hotel with special charm offers 20 guestrooms, each inspired by different cultures (Persian, Afghan, Omani, Bedouin or Berber). The decoration, in relaxing, neutral tones which mix perfectly with the Arabian architecture, is composed of fabrics and furniture that the hotel owners have collected over the years on their numerous travels.
La Maison d’Hôtes also has a beautifully kept garden where bougainvilleas and jasmines intertwine beneath luxuriant palms trees that also surround two exquisite swimming pools. The hotel is a tribute to the diversity of cultures and traditions. Its restaurant offers a select menu card based on traditional French cuisine, with touches of international aromas.
