18/06/2009: Hotusa Hotels signs an exclusivity agreement with Boscolo Hotels
Hotusa Hotels and Boscolo Hotels have signed a collaboration agreement whereby the chain of independent hotels belonging to the Hotusa Group has become the representative for the Italian group’s portfolio which comprises 20 establishments.
This is the first agreement effected by the Italian company for the distribution of their hotels at international level. Boscolo has made its bet on the experience, distribution capacity and the wide offer of services provided by Hotusa Hotels, the leading European hotel consortium with over 2,330 associated establishments. Moreover, the Spanish company’s existing structure of branding will allow this representation to be adapted to the needs of the different types of hotels.
Thus, seven of Boscolo’s five-star hotels will be included in the Style Trendy & Elegant Hotels brand, which specializes in the representation of emblematic establishments at international level, adapted to lifestyle of the modern tourist. These are the Boscolo New York Palace (Budapest, Hungary), the Boscolo Carlo IV (Prague, Czech Republic), the Boscolo Exedra Nice (Nice, France) and, in Italy, the Boscolo Hotel El Aleph (Rome), the Boscolo Exedra (Rome), the Boscolo Dei Dogi (Venice) and the Boscolo Exedra Milano (Milan). An additional two hotels will join the Domus Selecta brand, the hotels with charm belonging to Hotusa Hotels, namely the Gran Hotel Ducato (Florence) y the Porro Pirelli (Varese).
In addition to the above nine establishments, 11 more hotels are now included in Hotusa Hotels: the Astoria (Florence), Bellini (Venice), Roma Borromini (Rome), Vicenza de la Ville (Vicenza), Verona Leon D’Oro (Verona), Padova (Padua), Bologna Tower (Bologna), Treviso Maggior Consiglio (Treviso) and the Grand Hotel (Lyon, France), the Plaza and the Park (both in Nice).
Having begun business in Venice in 1978, the Boscolo Group has experience of over 20years in the tourist sector, both in the running of hotel establishments, tour operation or the offer of hotel services. In 2007 the Italian group registered a turnover of 240 million euros.
