Hotusa Hotels has enlarged its portfolio with the addition of 32 new associated establishments during the month of May. This figure consolidates the privileged position of the chain amongst the major hotel consortiums world-wide. Of these 32 newly incorporated hotels, 15 form part of the international network while the remainder is spread over Spanish territory.
The company’s international portfolio has been enlarged with additions in France (5), Italy (3), Portugal (2), Brazil (2), Argentina (1), Greece (1) and the Czech Republic (1). In Spain, the independent hotels chain has increased its presence in the Valencia Community (7), Andalusia (3), Balearic Islands (2), Asturias (1), Catalonia (1), Extremadura (1), Madrid (1) and Navarre (1).
The organization’s objective is to enlarge and diversify its portfolio with the addition of establishments in both the traditional destinations as well as in the emergent tourist markets. It has recently added its first associated hotels Panama, India and Colombia, while in 2007 it made a debut in marketplaces such as The Balkans, Mozambique, Cuba, Venezuela and China.
