22/07/2008: Over 70 entrepreneurs already registered to participate in the i+T Prizes

Over 70 entrepreneurs have registered to take part in the i+T Prize for talent and innovation in the tourist sector. This is an original joint initiative between Grupo Hotusa and Banc Sabadell which seeks not only to recognise the best business projects in the field of tourism, hospitality and leisure but also to invest in the winning projects so as to make them a reality.

The submission period for candidatures ends on 10 September and the two organising companies expect to receive approximately 100 business projects. The prize, aimed at young entrepreneurs, have two categories: one for new projects which will receive a capital contribution and the necessary finance up to a maximum of 100,000 euros; and a second for the best company or initiative related with the tourist sector which is in the start-up phase, which will receive a convertible participative loan of up to 300,000 euros.
