08/04/2009: "Personal views" of Eurostars cities are wanted
The fourth edition of the Eurostars Hotels Photography Award “Your View is Personal” is already under way. This is an original competition exclusively for the hotel chain’s clients, inviting them to contribute their own personal views, by means of photographs, of any one of the 27 destinations where Eurostars Hotels is present.
A panel of judges will select a total of 25 photographs from all the entries received and award 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, 7 runners-up and 15 finalists. The first prize will comprise a 5-days stay in a Eurostars Hotels establishment and an Olympus Reflex Digital E-520 camera; the second prize a three-days stay in one of the hotels belonging to the chain and an Olympus Compact Mju-500 camera; the third prize being a weekend stay at a Eurostars hotel and an Olympus FE-330 digital camera. The seven runners-up will receive an Olympus FE-20 digital camera and the 15 finalists a special diploma.
In addition, the 25 award-winning pictures will form part of a travelling exhibition that will visit all the establishments belonging to the chain. The 25 prize-winning pieces of work from the last edition of this original competition will shortly be on show and will include shots taken in Brussels, Buenos Aires, Lisbon, Paris, Rome, Valencia, Segovia and Barcelona.
Those interested have until next 18 December 2009 for entering their photographs.
