This unique hotel is set in the midst of the fortified city of Toledo. Its main structure is a rustic home and an antique blacksmith shop dating back from 1815. Inaugurated in 2003, this charming hotel houses 22 rooms, each of them unique. During the restoration of the building, efforts were made to maintain the original elements such as hand-hewn wooden ceilings, wall beams and exposed brickwork, while adding a modern concept of design and decoration. Paying attention to customers, this cosy establishment has taken care of every detail to ensure a comfortable stay: air conditioning, heating, radio, satellite dish, private safes, and hairdryers.
The hotel has a privileged ubication. Close to Zocodover, the main square in Toledo, it is surrounded by many of Toledo's most emblematic monuments: Puerta del Sol, the Mosque of Cristo de la Luz, Puerta de
